About Me

Marisha L. Griffin-Essex, MSW, LCSW is the founder of I.N.S.P.I.R.E Counseling and Consulting Services, LLC. She received her Masters of Social Work from Saint Louis University.  She received her B.A. in both Psychology and Sociology, and a minor in Criminology.

Marisha has played and coached sports at both the high school and college level.  She dedicates her career to working with athletes, coaches, athletic personnell and their families.  She is an athlete centered individual with twelve years proven experience in motivating athletes to perform at high levels both athletically and personally.  She has been working with adolescents and their families since 2003.

She prides herself on delivering services with the greatest degree of professionalism and personal accountability.
